Commitment to Local and Social Activities

Meal Support through E-fran Children's Cafeteria

E-fran Children's Cafeteria provides support by distributing nutritious meals and bento boxes to children, with meals given twice a week in Japan (150 meals each week) and once a week in the Philippines (100 meals).
In addition, in Japan, we participate in local events and contribute to the community, while in the Philippines, we host Christmas events and distribute presents to children.

Meal Distribution Activities in the Philippines

Meal Distribution Activities in the Philippines

In the Philippines, most children born into impoverished families are forced to live in poverty throughout their lives. Depending on their family situation, some children are placed in orphanages, while others are forced to live as street children, supporting their families' daily expenses. Every week, we distribute nutritious, homemade meals to about 100 children living in poverty in Cebu, Philippines, to help them become both physically and mentally stronger.

Meal Distribution Activities in Japan

Meal Distribution Activities in Japan

Mainly in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, we distribute nutritious meals for children at the following five locations: "Yokohamabashi Shopping Street Bakauma Shokudo," "Living Creative Space Nishi (Guts Beat Nishi)," "Soto Zen Aokiyama Honkaku-ji Temple," "After-School Day Service / Fureai Plaza," and "Dagashi Shop Community Café Kodomono Mise." We provide meals a total of eight times per month, targeting children in need.

Emergency Support Activities

Emergency Support Activities

The 2021 typhoon and the large-scale fire in 2023 that occurred in the Philippines caused extensive damage. Amidst the severe hardships faced by many people, we have been distributing available food supplies to the disaster victims.Currently, the issue remains that such essential goods are not reaching all those in need. In order to ensure that as many people as possible receive the necessary supplies, E-fran will continue to provide full support.

Community Contribution Activities

Community Contribution Activities

Our community contribution efforts began when we were invited by the Nishi Ward Social Welfare and Children’s Committee to take part in local initiatives. This is an opportunity to introduce "E-fran Children's Cafeteria", to communicate with local residence, to contribute to the society. We aim to be a company deeply rooted in the community and contribute to activities that help the local residents live more prosperous lives.

Donations to Animal Welfare Organizations

Donations to Animal Welfare Organizations

We contribute to society by donating a portion of our revenue to the Animal Donation Public Interest Incorporated Association, supporting animal-related social issues.

Through the 'Memories of Schoolbags' gifting activity, we provide support for self-reliance.

As part of our social contribution efforts, E-fran donates unwanted school bags to children in Afghanistan.

Installation of Food Drive Drop-off Boxes

Installation of Food Drive Drop-off Boxes

As part of our efforts to address social issues such as food waste reduction and contribute to the SDGs, E-fran has installed Food Drive drop-off boxes within our company. This initiative encourages employees to donate non-perishable food items to support those in need and promote sustainability.
